Showers becoming confined to the south coast this evening. Chatham Islands Showers, easing this evening. Sunday North Island: Rain developing in Northland, spreading south from Auckland to Taranaki later in the day. Remaining mainly fine elsewhere. South Island: Mostly cloudy with a few showers along the West Coast and for Stewart Island, fine elsewhere. Monday Rain or showers developing for most of the country through the day, along with a fresh south to southwest change, clearing to fine about the southern and western South Island later on. Chatham Islands Occasional showers with fresh southwesterlies on Saturday through early Sunday, easing with winds turning northwest later on Sunday.
