The NZ Sharemarket fell slightly today with the NZX50 down -0.16% percent (-7.82 points) from previous close to end the day at 4,591. The most actively traded stock in Wellington, with over 13.2 million shares changing hands was Trade Me, closing the day up 1% from it's opening to $5.37. The next biggest trader was Mighty River Power Ltd ($2.52) with over 13.2 million shares being traded. Falls outweighed rises by 81 to 60, with the biggest loser being Dorchester Pacific (down 11%), while the star of the day was Sealegs Corporation Ltd (up 11%). |
