Teenagers arrested for Havelock North petrol station robbery

Two teenagers have been arrested for aggravated robbery and a third person is on the loose, after police raided a property in Havelock North.

The 16 and 17 year-old will appear in Hastings District Court tomorrow, charged over the aggravated robbery of the local Mobil station on Monday night.

Police are asking for sightings of a dark green Subaru station wagon, which the trio allegedly stole from Lipscombe Crescent not long before the robbery.

They say it's possible the offenders canvassed a number of other Havelock North stores beforehand, and may have been seen earlier in the evening.

Police are still looking for the stolen vehicle, and the third offender.
