The man has been bailed to appear in the Auckland District Court next week on four charges of indecent assault.
He's accused of groping at least four teens during a party at the Young Labour camp in Waihi in February.
The incident sparked outrage after it was revealed Labour Party officials decided not to tell the victims' parents.
And the victims say they didn't get enough support.
Labour Party President Nigel Haworth says the party backs the decision of police to lay charges.
