The newcomers are pushing hard for inclusion in the Kiwis team for Sunday morning's Four Nations opener against the Kangaroos in London.

Coach Stephen Kearney is expected to name his team overnight.

Centre Junior Sau and backrower Jared Waerea-Hargreaves impressed in the warm up win over Tonga.

Waerea-Hargreaves says with a number of first-choice players not touring due to injury, the newbies want another chance to prove their worth at the top level.

"We're going to take every single opportunity we can get and grab it with two hands."

The Kiwis trained today at the home of the London Irish Rugby Club in the city's southwest. They are regarded third favourite for the tournament by local bookies, something both the Australian and New Zealand camps have downplayed.
