    Katie Price defends Peter

Glamour model Katie Price has hit out at threats against ex-husband Peter Andre as reports suggest her relationship with cage fighter Alex Reid could be in trouble.

    3 November 2009
Katie Price has defended ex-husband Peter Andre.

The glamour model – whose divorce from the Australian pop singer was finalised last month – has blasted her critics after receiving spiteful messages threatening her and her loved ones, including her former spouse, boyfriend Alex Reid, 34, and her three children, Harvey, seven, Junior, four and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii.

Katie – whose beloved horses have been threatened - wrote on Twitter: “.please leave my horses alone like my children they are my life ..attack me not my children, horses or familyxx

dont attack my children, family, friends, horses and pete but you can attack me its fine go ahead i can take it but dont attack them thanks.

“come on haters attack me! your right, im always wrong im hated i never do anything right do i sorry for that!! (sic)”

Police are said to be taking the threats seriously and are planning to check security at the stables where the 31-year-old beauty keeps her animals.

Meanwhile, reports suggest Katie’s relationship with Alex is in trouble after they spent the night avoiding each other at a Halloween Ball at London’s Hampton Court.

The star was said to be furious her red PVC catsuit was upstaged by the cage fighter, who donned a see-through costume as his cross-dressing alter-ego Roxanne.

She allegedly shouted: “This Roxanne thing has gone too far. I’m not sure if I’ve got a boyfriend or a girlfriend any more.”

An onlooker said: “She was flirting outrageously - but he looked miserable.”

After Alex locked himself in a bathroom for an hour, furious Katie decided to leave without him.

She is quoted by Britain’s Daily Star newspaper as saying: “F**k him. Let’s go without him. He can do what he wants, I don’t care anymore.”

A friend of Katie’s fears the disastrous evening could signal the end for her romance with Alex.

The source said: “Katie is showing all the signs she is bored with Alex.

“This could really be the last straw for these two, they’re not in a good place at all.”
