    Frustrated Penney still struggling

Kirk Penney is still battling a back injury and will not play in the Breakers' next two matches, says it is extremely frustrating

    4 November 2009
The Breakers will have to go without injured Kirk Penney for the next two games.

Penney has missed the past four matches due to a back injury and continues to go through rehabilitation.

Penney says it is extremely frustrating for him. He says the nature of the injury means anything he does could potentially aggravate it.

He has ruled himself out of tomorrow night's game against the Gold Coast Blaze as well as Sunday's match against the Perth Wildcats.

Coach Andrej Lemanis says without the services of Penney, the others have to fill his shoes. He says Penney spends a lot of time on court, which gives someone else an opportunity to step up.
