    5 November 2009
A group of thieves may be planning a big bang this Guy Fawkes.

Morrinsville police say around $11,000 worth of fireworks was stolen from the local branch of The Warehouse sometime between 9pm Tuesday and 10am yesterday.

The fireworks were in locked shipping containers, loaded on pallets in boxes.

Constable John Grantham says some of the products include Megashot, Backyard Blast and Astro Blazer Mega Mix boxes.

He says police want to hear from anyone who has been offered bargain price fireworks.
