High winds set to hit Dunedin
MetService issues severe weather warning for Clutha, Dunedin; southwesterly gales could reach 100km/hr until Monday

As the cleanup gets underway in Wellington after yesterday's freak storm, Dunedin residents are being told to be prepared for severe gales.
Strong winds are set to hit parts of the Clutha and Dunedin regions until Monday and MetService has issued a severe weather warning for the region.
Southwesterly gales could reach 100 kilometres an hour from this morning until dawn on Monday, especially near coastal hills and headlands.
