Kris Humphries is to take a young cancer patient to one of his games.

The 27-year-old NBA star – who is currently in the process of being divorced by Kim Kardashian after just 72 days of marriage - has offered to take 16-year-old Kaely Kwitek to watch his team, the New Jersey Nets, following a twitter campaign by her friends.

The brave teenager – who is battling stage four anaplastic large-cell lymphoma – and her family will be whisked off on an all-expenses paid trip as Kris’ guests, with a meet and great after the event.

Kris told TMZ.com: "I'm truly honoured that someone with much larger things on their plate feels that my involvement in their cause is important.

“Not many of us can be as strong as she has been. I hope that many more will join me and support Team Kaely."

His offer comes after Kaely’s friends joined forces and launched a twitter account called @Kris4Kaely in a bid to catch his attention.

Meanwhile, Kris is said to have snubbed a £4.5million divorce settlement by Kim because he wants her to admit their wedding was “fake”.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: “Kris wants Kim to admit to fraud, to admit the whole thing was staged for publicity, to make a public apology to him because he really wanted a marriage.”

However, Kim - who filed for divorce in October citing “irreconcilable differences” - strongly denies the claims and insists their relationship simply didn’t work.
