Anna Kendrick has splashed out $1,000,000 on a new house in the Hollywood Hills area surrounding Los Angeles.

Anna Kendrick has splashed out $1 million on a new house.

The 'Twilight' star has bought a three bedroom, three-and-half bathroom house in the Hollywood Hills area.

According to PerezHilton.com, the house is a two storey home with lots of garage space, hickory wood floors and great view of downtown Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old's new place also has a large outdoor deck an outdoor fireplace.

Anna is not the only star to be moving into a new house in Hollywood currently, as Jennifer Aniston is preparing to move into an 8,500 square foot Bel Air estate with boyfriend Justin Theroux.

Jennifer had originally planned to move to New York and even bought two apartments which she was planning to knock through to make one apartment, but then had to sell them at a £500,000 loss.

Jennifer - who was born in California but grew up in New York - said: "We tried New York. It was a little rough with the paparazzi. It didn't feel like the New York I grew up in and knew."

Although Jennifer lost money on her New York apartments, she paid $21 million for her new mansion in Beverley Hills, which was well under its $24 million listing price. She also sold her other Los Angeles home for $36 million.

Justin and Jennifer are thought to be renting a house in the Hollywood Hills until the mansion is ready.
