The cage fighter - who was previously married to former glamour model Katie Price - claims he would make an excellent Member of Parliament (MP) because children look up to him and even has his heart set on making it all the way to the top job in British Politics.
Speaking at Parliament in London yesterday, where he helped to launch a Let's Do Lunch healthy eating campaign, Alex said: "It would be lovely to be an MP. I believe I can use my power as a celebrity to influence young people to help them be the people they want to be and have a better Britain."
Asked if he would like to become prime minister, he added: "If the people wanted me to, I'd love to."
Alex, 36, is currently expecting his first child with reality TV star Chantelle Houghton and says politics would be easy compared to his career as a cage fighter.
He said: "When you've fought an athlete trying to rip your head off, standing up against someone just trying to verbally discredit you won't be a problem."
Alex - who is currently touring the UK in Wildboyz, a show about male strippers - claims he would succeed in politics because he can easily communicate with ordinary people.
He explained: "I'm someone who can get the point across that people want and can understand without jargon."
