No Doubt will make their live comeback at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards

The 'Don't Speak' band will unveil their new single at the event on July 22.

The performance will be the first from the group in a year and a half, and the first time they will ever play their new track - the name of which hasn't been announced - live.

Singer Gwen Stefani said: "I can't believe this is actually happening. The idea of playing our new music live is heaven on earth. Can't wait to share it!"

The group - made up of Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Tom Dumont - have been working hard on their first album in almost 11 years, which will be released on September 25.

The band have previously revealed working titles for tracks including 'Party-Ready Reggae Blast', 'Steady Down' and 'One More Summer'.

In a recent blog post about the album, the group wrote: "We are incredibly excited to share the new music with you. Ear candy coming your way!

"Thank you all so much for your support over the last 25 years. We're really proud of our new album and we hope you love it as much as we do."

The Teen Choice Awards is an annual show where fans aged 13-19 can cast votes as to who will win in a huge range of categories.
