Louis Tomlinson is a "sucker" for rejection

The One Direction hunk admits he likes girls who play hard-to-get and won't give up when he is turned down by someone he likes.

He said: "I'm a sucker for that. If they turn me down, I'd keep trying until it got a bit silly. I'm not one of those guys who would be like, 'Well, see you later then.' "

Louis' determination is backed by his bandmate Liam Payne - who is dating dancer Danielle Peazer - as he thinks some girls play games with guys they like.

He is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: "You have to keep trying because you don't know if they're playing games, they might be testing you to see if you really care about them."

Meanwhile, the group's Niall Horan has spoken of his discomfort at having to wear braces to straighten his teeth.

He admitted: "They hurt so much when they're tightened. Hopefully, it will be worth it."

Niall recently claimed he wants One Direction - which also features Harry Styles and Zayn Malik - to be the first group to sell records in space.

He said: "I think our goal for 10 years down the line should be to sell a single in outer space and be the first band to do so.

"I want aliens to buy our music. It is worth a shot and is obtainable. We should speak to that band 30 Seconds to Mars - they could probably help us."
