    Driver dead after crashing into wall

    A 40-year-old woman has died after the car she was driving crashed in the Auckland suburb of Mt Albert on Saturday.


    A woman has died after the car she was driving smashed into a wall in Auckland.

    Authorities were alerted to the crash at the intersection of Mt Albert Road and St Andrews Road about 7.30am on Saturday, police said.

    The 40-year-old driver was found dead at the scene. No one else was injured and no other cars were involved.
