A young man who allegedly robbed a Christchurch bank on Monday has been arrested.
The 22-year-old was arrested on Friday and will appear in Christchurch District Court charged with aggravated robbery on Saturday, a statement from police says.
Police earlier said a man entered the Woolston ANZ Bank carrying a bag and approached a teller demanding money on Monday afternoon.
A small sum of money was taken and the female teller was not injured.
Police had been looking for a tall male Caucasian of medium-to-slim build.
