    Pedestrian dies after being hit by car

    Emergency services are investigating a crash which killed an elderly female pedestrian on Auckland's North Shore.


    A 75-year-old woman has died after being struck by a car on Auckland's North Shore.

    The female pedestrian was struck about 1.20pm on Glenfield Road, Glenfield, between the intersections of the southern end of James St and Wairau Rd.

    Emergency services are at the scene and the Police Serious Crash Unit was investigating.

    The woman's name hasn't been released.
