    Motorcyclist killed in Taranaki

    A male motorcyclist has been killed in a crash with a car in the Taranaki town of Waitara.


    A motorcyclist has been killed in a collision with a car at Waitara in the Taranaki.

    The accident happened at the intersection of State Highway 3 and Princess Street about 3pm on Wednesday, Inspector Ian Harris said.

    Emergency services tried to revive the man, whose details were not available, but he later died.
