A photographer told X17Online.com: "Rob looked nervous on his way to visit Kristen. He was trying to be discreet so no one would see him."
The 27-year-old star has recently been seen "hanging out" with lifelong pal, Riley Keough - the granddaughter of the late Elvis Presley - but she has since denied they are "hooking up".
Meanwhile, Kristen has been seeking comfort from Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy - who has previously dated Katy Perry - with the pair spending time at Kristen's mansion bonding over their love of music.
A source said: "Kristen's decided the only way she can get over Rob is by keeping busy and hanging out with other guys.
"Travie's just what the doctor ordered, he's wild, funny and a rocker, so he's right up Kristen's street.
"Kristen's been coming up with lyrics with him and hanging out at her house in Los Angeles having jam sessions.
"If Kristen wants a no-strings fling, he'd made it clear he fancies her."
