Michael Sheen has a new girlfriend.

The Welsh actor is dating VH1 'Big Morning Buzz Live' host Carrie Keagan and the pair have been seeing each other for a few weeks.

Blonde beauty Carrie, 33, is remaining coy about her budding relationship with Michael, 44, but according to Us Weekly magazine she has confessed to friends that she "really likes him".

One of the couple's first public appearances together was at the premiere after-party of Michael's new film 'Masters of Sex' held at the Morgan Library and Museum in New York City on September 26.

An onlooker at the bash told the publication: "Carrie was all over Michael like a smitten schoolgirl! He was rubbing her back."

Michael split from his last girlfriend Rachel McAdams - who he met on the set of their movie 'Midnight in Paris' - after two years in February because their careers were keeping them apart.

Michael was previously in a long-term relationship with actress Kate Beckinsale. They have a 14-year-old daughter Lily together.

Carrie's last boyfriend was rumoured to be 'The Social Network' director Aaron Sorkin.
