Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have fuelled speculation they will marry at the Chateau Louis XIV.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star spent an hour talking to staff and walking around the grounds of the castle in Louveciennes, 14 miles away from Paris, on Sunday, ahead of their wedding on May 24.

A source told E! News: "Kim was so happy and enjoyed looking at all the beautiful details. She asked a few questions and seemed excited to be there. She shook hands with everyone and then left with a chauffeur."

The 33-year-old brunette beauty met up with her rapper fiancé, 36, in the French capital afterwards, where they were spotted shopping at Givenchy, Balmain and Lanvin.

The reality TV star, who got engaged to the 'New Slaves' hitmaker on her birthday in October, flew to Paris on Saturday to begin final preparations for their nuptials but was expected to fly back to Los Angeles on Monday, as she left their 11-month-old daughter North West with family for the weekend.

Kim previously revealed she and Kanye are planning a "super, super-small intimate" wedding and insisted they are both heavily involved in the preparations.

She explained: "There's certain things I'm like, 'I know you're going to hate the seating chart, so I'll take care of this,' and then there's some things that are really important to him. [But] the seating chart is like death."
