Brody Jenner's sister-in-law was one of his first girlfriends

The 30-year-old reality TV star has revealed he had a childhood romance with Leah Jenner, who is now married to his older brother Brandon Jenner, 33

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star and the blonde beauty, 31, discussed their "really awkward" history together while Leah and Brandon were appearing on Brody's new podcast series, 'The Brody Jenner Podcast with Dr. Mike Dow,' today (26.06.14).

Asked about her relationship with her husband, the petite singer said: "We've known each other since we were 11 years old; I was 11 years old, he was 13.

"We started playing [music] in high school together. I had a boyfriend, he had a girlfriend. And then when I was single one day, he was single one day and he came up to me and he's like, 'I've been in love with you since you were 11 years old.' "

Brody then said: "The boyfriend at the time was me. That's what made it really awkward."

After initially accusing him of lying, Leah eventually admitted it was a very innocent relationship.

She said: "I met Brandon through Brody. We went to school together when we were 11. OK, 11. You don't kiss, you don't make out, you don't hold hands, you beat each other up, you play basketball."

She added: "So he was my boyfriend in the fifth grade, Brody was. We never kissed."

Brandon and Leah, who is the daughter of former Eagles guitarist Don Felder, tied the knot in Hawaii in June 2012, and Brody served as the best man.
