Megan Fox says she only cooks for special occasions

The 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' actress has admitted she isn't known for her day-to-day culinary delights, but insisted she likes to put the effort in for the holidays

Asked what the last meal she prepared was, she told PEOPLE.com: "Does scrambled eggs count?

"I really love cooking for the holidays, and I always try and do something challenging. But on a day-to-day basis, it's not my thing."

Similarly, Megan revealed she "never" does any home improvement work, choosing to leave it to her husband Brian Austin Green - who she married in 2010 - although she'd rather they paid someone to do it for them.

Quizzed about her DIY projects, she replied: "That I did personally? Never.

"But if we want to go with my husband, Brian, he just rewired the stereo equipment.

"He would prefer to do it all himself. He tried to paint our house, and I'm like, 'Please, can we just hire someone?' "

The couple have two sons together - 23-month-old Noah and six-month-old Bodhi - and Megan admitted her older child is struggling to completely accept the new arrival.

She recently said: "Half the time he is [excited], he wants to stroke his head and help feed him - then the other half of the time he tries to smother him.

"He's good most of the time, but then every once in a while, when we're not looking and we hear the baby cry, we realise he's thrown a toy at his face."
