Chelsea Handler's staff disappointed to learn they won't all work on her new show

The 39-year-old presenter initially told employees on 'Chelsea Lately' they would move with her when she begins her new project at Netflix.

With her E! show coming to an end next week and the next venture not beginning until next year, only longtime production staff Tom Brunelle and Brad Wollack have so far been offered jobs.

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper's Confidenti@l column: "Obviously there were a lot of people in the office saying 'Oh, s**t' when they heard about the Netflix deal.'

"At first Chelsea was telling people, 'It's fine. You're my staff -- I'm going to take care of you guys.' I don't know what happened in between, but at this point there's no plans for anyone but a couple of guys who have been with her since the beginning to make the transition."

However, while the staff members are disappointed, they are accepting of the situation, though they will miss their kind and supportive boss.

The source added: "It's weird for a lot of those guys (staff members), because Chelsea's a great boss and she's been very supportive and loyal to her staff. So on the one hand people were expecting her to take them to Netflix, so they're disappointed, but on the other hand they're like, 'Well, we'd be nowhere without Chelsea and she can't carry people forever.'

"It's tough as well, because the crew are really close with each other and with Chelsea. They'll go on vacations together.

"Chelsea will put on yoga classes for the staff with (Jennifer Aniston's yogi) Mandy Ingber and things like that."
