Taylor Swift and John Mayer reportedly ignored one another as they dined separately at the same restaurant last night 20th of August

A source told TMZ.com: "John and Taylor saw each other but didn't exchange a single word."

The ex-lovers, who have previously hit out at each other in their song writing, then left the hotspot separately in their hired cars.

The pair seem to still hold a grudge against one another as in 2012 John, 36, admitted he felt "humiliated" after it was thought Taylor, 24, referenced him and their relationship in her track 'Dear John.'

He said at the time: "I never got an email. I never got a phone call.

I was really caught off-guard, and it really humiliated me at a time when I'd already been dressed down. I mean, how would you feel if, at the lowest you've ever been, someone kicked you even lower?"

Following their split in 2010, John went on to date Katy Perry before ending their relationship earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Taylor has also had a number of high-profile romances since their split as she's dated One Direction's Harry Styles and actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
