Nicki Minaj's backing dancer bitten by snake during MTV Video Music Awards rehearsal
The 'Anaconda' star will be performing her hit single at the annual bash, but their practice didn't go to plan when a female dancer was attacked by a six-foot serpent.

According to gossip website TMZ, the unfortunate performer was bitten by the reptile and had to be taken to hospital, where she is being treated.
It is believed an anaconda was used - in a direct reference to Nicki's new track - and while it is a non-venomous snake, they can often transmit bacteria that could lead to serious infections.
The serpent was removed from the stage in a glass container, and it's not yet known if it will be used in the live performance this weekend.
As well as her performance of 'Anaconda', Nicki will also join Jessie J and Ariana Grande to open the show with their collaboration 'Bang Bang'.
Meanwhile, she will be joining Usher for a rendition of 'She Came To Give It To You'.
