Sofia Vergara claims she is being tortured in the gym ahead of the Emmy Awards
The 'Modern Family' star has intensified her workouts with her personal trainer, Jennifer Yates, as she wants to look in tip-top shape at the glitzy ceremony in Los Angeles on Monday, despite missing out on a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series this year.

The 42-year-old beauty shared a photograph of herself flexing her muscles on her Whosay profile on Friday (22.08.14), with the caption: "Thank u @jen_yates_ for another horrible workout!! #Emmytorture"
While Sofia missed out on her fifth consecutive solo nomination, the Colombian star and her castmates will battle it out for the award for Best Comedy Series at the star-studded ceremony.
Meanwhile, rumours are swirling that Sofia is planning to make her debut red carpet appearance with new boyfriend Joe Manganiello at the event, as the 'True Blood' hunk is also set to attend.
Friends believes the 37-year-old actor is a "good influence" on Sofia, as he has been helping her curb her partying and has even been advising her on diet and fitness.
A source previously said: "Joe has been a really good influence on her. He is teaching her that she can have just as much fun without drinking and has gotten her into fitness and health. They even workout together."
