Paris Hilton's younger brother was involved in a car accident

Conrad Hilton reportedly collided with the rear of a tractor trailer on Saturday after clipping the back of another car while trying to change lanes in Palm Springs, California, and narrowly escaped with minor injuries, including a fractured hand, cuts and bruises.

California Highway Patrol sources told gossip website TMZ.com that paramedics had to cut a hole in the vehicle to free the hotel heir, 20, from his car.

While drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the crash, police said another driver called 911 shortly before it happened, claiming Conrad was driving recklessly.

The source said that a police officer also tried to pull Conrad over, but lost sight of him.

The socialite previously crashed his car into a parked vehicle near his home in Brentwood in 2011.

Another source said at the time that Conrad, who allegedly had two unopened wine bottles and a bottle of medical marijuana in the car at the time of the incident, begged his neighbour not to tell his parents, Rick and Kathy Hilton.

One of Paris' younger brothers called the police after she got into an altercation with former 'Baywatch' star Jeremy Jackson, who played Hobie Buchannon on the television show, at her home in Malibu, California last month, but it is not known whether it was Conrad or her other brother, Barron Hilton, 25.

Barron claimed he was beaten up in an attack ordered by Paris' former friend Lindsay Lohan at a house party in Miami, Florida in December.
