Katy Perry and Diplo were "super cute together" at an Emmy Awards after party

The 29-year-old singer, who quietly started dating the DJ and producer, 35, in April, brought him as her date to host Seth Meyers' bash at Hyde nightclub in Los Angeles, where they appeared to be completely smitten with one another.

A source told UsMagazine.com that the duo arrived together and wasted no time hitting the dance floor, adding: "[They] kept grabbing each other's hands and Diplo kept pulling Katy in."

The couple continued dancing when DJ Samantha Ronson played the brunette beauty's hit 'Dark Horse' especially for them and also chatted to pals, including 'Girls' star Allison Williams.

The eyewitness added: "The party was so much fun. It kept going until 3 in the morning. Guests still kept dancing and partying."

Katy started dating Diplo - real name Thomas Pentz - just two months after splitting up with her longtime on-again, off-again boyfriend, John Mayer.

The 'Birthday' singer recently admitted she prefers dating famous men, as they understand her lifestyle better.

She said: "They understand what it means when you're tired from a show or the tour's exhausting you or if an interview went wrong -- they know all the ins and outs, so you can just walk in to the house with a certain face and they understand, you know? Rather than, like, having to explain everything and that takes two, three hours."
