Daniel Radcliffe will only date actresses.

The 'Harry Potter' actor - who is in a relationship with his 'Kill Your Darlings' co-star Erin Darke - has admitted he only looks for love with fellow movie makers as they already understand the demands of the industry.

He told The Mirror newspaper: "If you're in a film and you're an actor and your girlfriend is not an actor and you say, 'Right, I'm going away for four months and, no, I won't see you at all during that time', that could go down really badly.

"The other person would just say, 'Well, why don't you just not take the job?', whereas another actor would understand that's just not something you would do."

Daniel also revealed that he instantly felt connected to Erin, 29, when they met on the set of the movie last year.

He explained: "We just got on immediately. It was one of those instant things where you're like, 'Oh, I really like this person.'

"You just have a connection with somebody and then suddenly it's incredibly easy to talk to them - one of those sort of situations."

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old hunk has vowed not to let his superstardom interfere with their relationship and credits Erin's talent and not their public romance for her becoming more successful.

"She's an actress, and I knew as soon as she experiences any success, if she's even remotely linked to me, people will say, 'Well that only happened because of going out with him.

"People are quick to make those judgments and I wanted to make sure they can never make them about her, because I know how hard she's worked to be where she is."
