Mark Wahlberg isn't attending his brother Donnie and Jenny McCarthy's wedding

The couple are set to tie the knot in a glamorous ceremony in New York but the New Kids on the Block's younger sibling won't be watching the loved-up pair exchange their vows as he and his wife Rhea reportedly don't get on with the former Playboy model.

A source told gossip website TMZ.com: "Mark is not as close with Donnie and Jenny as Jenny has made it seem. Or at least, not with Jenny.

"Mark's wife Rhea did not like a recent interview Jenny gave with Howard Stern where she talked about her relationship with Mark."

However, a representative for Mark, 43, insists the actor isn't able to attend the nuptials because he is throwing his 10-year-old daughter Ella a birthday party in Los Angeles today as he will be busy filming in Boston when she turns 11 on Tuesday (02.09.14).

Meanwhile, It is also believed Donnie's mother Alma and his brother Robert, 46, will also not be present when the pair become husband and wife.

However, Donnie, 45, and Jenny, 41, who got engaged in April, recently claimed they were struggling to cut down their guest-list as they had too many friends and family coming to the ceremony.

The blonde beauty said previously: "The hardest part is we have to cut down the wedding list, because the place we're getting married at, it's very boutique. With Donnie's 800 relatives - yes, 800. I've got

6,000 McCarthys. It's going to be hard to really cut down that list so I'm trying to make sure the core group is there."
