Sean Kingston is reportedly being sued over $1 million for not paying his jewellery bill.

The 24-year-old singer - whose real name is Kisean Anderson - has been slapped with a lawsuit from a jeweller in New York after he allegedly failed to settle the funds for the watches, chains, bracelets and necklaces he bought between 2008 and 2013.

Avi Da alleges in the legal documents, obtained by TMZ.com, that the 'Beautiful Girls' hitmaker owes him more than $200,000 and still hasn't returned the $12,000 ring he was loaned for a TV appearance.

Avi also claims Sean has attempted to pay off his debt in the past but the cheques he wrote have all bounced.

The jewellery specialist believes he's owed $226,200 in total but is also demanding punitive damages.

Meanwhile, this isn't the first time Sean has failed to settle a bill as he allegedly ran up a bar tab of $8,771 while partying with his friends at Euphoria nightclub in the Dominican Republic in March this year.

However, the 'Eenie Meenie' hitmaker wasn't totally to blame as it is believed there was a miscommunication between him and the venue managers, who reportedly told him they would "take care of" the group, and he thought that meant they would get free drinks all night.

Sean was tracked down by police after the authorities were informed of the incident, and he was ordered to pay the bill before being allowed to leave the country.

Sean was reportedly "very apologetic" for the error and returned to the club immediately t
