Kristin Cavallari never expected to have children so young.

The 27-year-old beauty - who has sons Camden, two, and Jaxon, four months, with husband Jay Cutler - can't believe how "perfect" her life is now and she thinks she is finally on the "right path".

She said: "I've learned that being a mom is where I'm happiest. I'm finally at a place in my life where I feel everything is perfect and right. I'm really happy.

"In my early 20s I knew I wanted kids. I didn't think it would happen at age 25, but the fact that it did, I just feel everything is falling into place.

"I know I'm on the right path and this is what I'm supposed to be doing.

The 'Fabulist' star lives in Chicago with her 31-year-old husband but commutes to New York once a week for her work, and admits between her career commitments and raising her family, she finds it hard to find the time to see her friends.

Speaking to online publication Line magazine, she said: "To be honest, I don't see my friends as much as I used to, so when we do see each other we have more fun and really appreciate that time together.

"I have such great girlfriends it always seems like no time at all has passed."

And Kristin insists she will happily pass on date nights with her NFL star husband in favour of an early night.

She added: "With a new baby it's really hard because the last thing I want to do at night is get ready to go to dinner - I would rather just go to bed."
