Natasha Hamilton went into labour at Kerry Katona's wedding.

The 32-year-old singer started to feel ill during the speeches at the celebrations for her Atomic Kitten bandmate and new husband George Kay on Sunday so she and boyfriend Ritchie Neville left to get her checked out at hospital, and were stunned to learn their baby was on its way.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It was a late wedding, so the speeches were going on at 9pm when Natasha started feeling a bit sick. She had some pains, and decided to go to hospital just to be safe to make sure everything was OK with the baby.

"She hadn't realise but she was already 3cm dilated."

Despite her delicate state, the 'Whole Again' singer had been adamant that she wasn't going to miss her friend's third wedding even though her due date was just two weeks away.

A source added: "Natasha was over 38 weeks, so she knew she was set to burst at any moment.

"She had a baby bag ready with her just in case, and told pals there that Ritchie had even warned her that she might be better off missing the party just to be safe. But she loves Kez so she went along to show her support."

Mother-of-three Natasha - who has already decided that she will call her baby girl Ella - was rushed to a nearby hospital where she spent the night, but it seems she was sent home yesterday evening (15.09.14) without giving birth.

She tweeted: "Well what an eventful 48 hours I've had! Totally exhausted & glad to be home. Thanks to all at #SouthMeadHospital who took care of us x (sic)"
