Iggy Azalea's collaboration with Jennifer Lopez was "surreal".

The 'Fancy' hitmaker - who released the video for the pair's new single 'Booty' last week - has confessed she found working with the 45-year-old singer hard to come to terms with as she grew up listening to her music.

However, the Aussie-born star was soon put at ease by Jennifer's "down to earth" attitude and believes she will stay good friends with her idol following the collaboration.

When asked about the success of the duo's latest offering, she told E! News: "I did [expect the video to blow up], but only because I'm a massive fan of Jennifer and, you know, to me she's iconic, so I think anything she does deserves to be spoken about.

"Jennifer really surprised me. I thought that she would be like a super-diva, and she was so down to earth and lovely and she didn't have a crazy ride or anything extra, she just got on with it and she was so sweet.

"I feel like I've gained a friend out of our collaboration and I had a very surreal moment filming the video with her because she's somebody that I've sung her music back in cars with friends and in bedroom mirrors over the years. It was really great to get to do this with her."

Meanwhile, Iggy, 24 - who, in addition to Jennifer, has already teamed-up with a host of superstars including Rita Ora, Ariana Grande and T.I - revealed she recently duetted with another "pop queen" but is keen to keep her identity under wraps.

She explained: "There's somebody I've had my eye on but we just did a secret collaboration, so I'm hoping we'll be able to announce that in the next few weeks. Another pop queen that I'm excited about."
