Britney Spears used her recent promotional tour of her new lingerie line as an excuse to enjoy the sights of London.

The 'Toxic' hitmaker was in the UK to publicise her new Intimate range, but also took the opportunity to see some of London's most famous landmarks.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Britney only had time for a whirlwind trip but still wanted to fit in seeing some of the sights.

"On the way from the airport she asked to be driven past some of the landmarks including Big Ben and the London Eye."

This comes shortly after the 32-year-old singer claimed she is "pretty damn happy" being single.

Britney split from boyfriend David Lucado last month after 18 months of dating but has insisted she isn't feeling too upset.

Asked for advice on being single, she explained: "It's all about setting yourself a goal and going for that and just being motivated and staying true to yourself."

Britney also recently extended her residency in Las Vegas by a further two years and she says she loves having a settled work life.

Britney explained: "The way I used to travel all around the world and do a different show every night, I'm like 'How did I do it?!'"
