David Beckham has teamed up with Guy Ritchie for a new short film.

The 39-year-old hunk has joined forces with the 'Snatch' director for a new advert for HAIG CLUB - the new Single Grain Scotch Whisky produced in partnership with David and Simon Fuller - and admitted he had a "rewarding" experiencing working with the filmmaker.

He said: "Working with Guy to bring this tradition to life in a new way has been so rewarding.

"I love the tradition of toasting, it's something I always do with friends and family.

"HAIG CLUB has always been about friends coming together and that's what we wanted to reflect with the advert. It's as simple as that."

The former footballer - who has children Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 12, Cruz, nine, and Harper, three, with wife Victoria Beckham - looks extremely dapper in the clip in a green velour suit jacket as he clasps hold of a glass of his whisky.

What's more, the star gets to do what he does best in the advert - which is available to view on YouTube.com/HaigClub - as he is seen clad in a leather jacket while riding a motorbike through the picturesque Scottish Highlands.

David launched his HAIG CLUB whisky earlier this month at a star-studded bash at Gilmerton house on the outskirts of Edinburgh in Scotland over the weekend, which was attended by the likes of his wife Victoria as well as their pals Gordon and Tana Ramsay and Professor Jimmy Choo.

As well as promoting his whisky brand, David also does a lot for charity and recently took time of his busy schedule to meet 11-year-old fan Lloyd Burton, whose football career was tragically cut short when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour in May last year.

The surprise meeting - which is set to air on Stand Up To Cancer's TV show on Channel 4 - featured the pair chatting about their love of Manchester United, David's former club, and the soccer star tells Lloyd what he's been up to since he retired from the beautiful game.

Lloyd said: "I had no idea that I was going to meet David Beckham, it was such a brilliant surprise! He was really nice and we chatted lots.

"He told me a bit about his family and other normal stuff and we talked about football quite a lot too. I love football and Beckham is one of my favourite players so I'll always remember that day."
