Kris Jenner just wants Bruce Jenner "to be happy."

The 58-year-old matriarch - who split from the Olympic gold medallist last year - insists she's not bothered who her estranged husband, with whom she has daughters Kendall, 18, and Kylie, 17, is dating and wishes him nothing but the best for the future.

Speaking on the US television show 'Today' she said: "I don't know who he's dating. He doesn't like check in with me and give me a play-by-play, but it's his life, and you just want the guy to be happy. You know, he's still the father of two of my children. We're friends."

It was thought the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' beauty - who filed for divorce from Bruce last month - was devastated following rumours he was now dating her former assistant Ronda Kamihira, but Kris insists she couldn't be happier following the split and believes she and the former athlete, 64, are better off as friends.

She explained: "[I'm] very happy [post-split]. I think at some point in your life you have to make a decision to do what's right for your family and the kids and I think that we decided to be grownups ...

"We're just better apart than we are together, but we're still really good friends."

Meanwhile, Kris - who also has grown-up children Kourtney, 35, Kim, 33, Khloé, 30, and Rob, 27, with her ex-husband, the late Robert Kardashian - hasn't ruled out finding love again at some point in the future.

She said previously: "I want to definitely be in love, I like being in love, I think there's no better feeling in the world. So yeah, I mean that would be amazing."
