Keyshia Cole won't be charged with assaulting another woman.

The 32-year-old singer was alleged to have attacked a woman in the penthouse of her boyfriend - Cash Money Records co-founder Birdman - in Los Angeles, but she won't face any further charges and has instead been reportedly let off with a warning.

A source told TMZ: "Prosecutors have told Cole instead of going to trial, they want her to appear at an informal office hearing, where someone from the City Attorney's Office will listen to Cole and the victim and then give the singer a stern warning not to do it again ... or else."

The verdict means Keyshia will not be required to spend any time in jail, but she may have to undergo anger management classes after she was accused of turning up at her boyfriend's home at around 5am, finding him with another women and then attacking her.

The singer, who was nominated for a Grammy for Best Contemporary RNB Album in 2007, was charged by LAPD with misdemeanour battery.

However, she was also arrested on account of the fact she had an outstanding warrant for reckless driving.

After being arrested at around 5.20am, Keyshia went to the Valley Jail in Van Nuys, where she spent the next seven hours locked up.

She had to post had to post $46,000 bail - some $20,000 of which related to the battery charge and the remaining $20,000 for the driving.
