Victoria Beckham used public transport for a business trip
The 40-year-old fashion designer shunned a chauffeur-driven car to take the train with friends including hairdresser Ken Paves as she travelled from London to Manchester, North West England, to promote her clothing line in the city's Selfridges department store.

Tweeting a picture from the first class carriage of the Virgin train, she wrote: "Manchester we r on our way! Who is photo bombing @kenpaves and @sarahluceroglam????#whoisshe???? #SelfridgesExchange (sic)"
And after disembarking from the train, Victoria - who has children Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 12, Cruz, nine, and three-year-old Harper with husband David - posted another picture of herself surrounded by bags on the platform.
She wrote: "Which way to Manchester Selfridges?? X vb #SelfridgesExchange #VBxSelfridges (sic)"
The former Spice Girls star was delighted to be back in Manchester - where she met her husband - and admitted she doesn't spend as much time in the city as she would like to.
She told the Manchester Evening News newspaper: "I think Manchester has a lot of style, a lot of culture and is such an exciting place to be. The people I have met here over the years have been incredibly stylish both in clothes and in attitude.
"I don't get back as much as I would like to! It's hard with four children at school and a business to run in London to travel across the UK as often as I'd ideally want to."
If Victoria does make a trip back to Manchester in the coming weeks, she will be able to take advantage of Virgin Trains' new Bag Magic service.
The new facility allows travellers to send their gifts and luggage overnight so they can travel hassle-free. Parcels 4 Delivery (P4D) will collect items from a specified address and deliver them to their destination overnight, or even at a nominated day in the future.
And to launch the service, a team of elves will be on hand at London's Euston station to wrap gifts for free this weekend, while the first 2,000 customers can send a bag one way for just £5 weekdays, a saving of the regular price of £9.99.
