David McIntosh insists he and Kelly Brook are "madly in love".

The former 'Gladiators' star - who split from the brunette beauty in September following rumours he had cheated on her - claims the pair have put their problems behind them and are back together again.

He said: "Kelly and I are madly in love. This is love. No matter what goes on, we can't stand being apart.

"We are back together now. That's the truth and that's because of love.

"Neither of us can help it man. It's love, love, love."

David's comments come just weeks after he accused Kelly - who has recently been romantically linked with model James Crabtree - of "bullying" him during arguments, but he insisted he only lashed out because he was upset about the end of their relationship.

He told The Sun newspaper: "Look Dan, I was hurting man. I didn't even know. I said a lot of things that I didn't actually mean.

"I had to keep going with the interviews because I was promoting my Devil Dawg nutrition products."

David, 28, flew out to visit Kelly, 35, in Los Angeles last month and dec lared soon afterwards he was hopeful of a reconciliation, even though the 'One Big Happy' actress proclaimed herself to be single.

He said recently: "I'm hoping the engagement will be back on soon.

"I pulled out all the stops in LA - I did a lot of nice things. I guess she's addicted to me."

However, the hunky star also admitted he is unsure of their relationship status and had no idea Kelly had stopped following him on Twitter.

Asked why she had unfollowed him, he said: "Did she actually unfollow me? That's something I'll have to check. Maybe she's broken up with me again..."
