Angelina Jolie says she won't be cooking Christmas dinner.

The 39-year-old actress, who has six children, Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, eight, and six-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, with husband Brad Pitt, admits they're relieved she isn't in charge of roasting their turkey.

Asked about her plans for the festive season, the 'Unbroken' director said: "I will not be cooking - to the benefit of everyone."

But the Oscar winner's second eldest son Pax, who helped bake her wedding cake in August, will likely be involved in preparing their festive feast.

She told PEOPLE magazine: "Pax loves to cook."

Angelina ordered a ready-made turkey to celebrate Thanksgiving with her children in London last month.

The 'Maleficent' star recently claimed she wanted to learn how to cook.

She said: "Now that I'm officially a wife, I said to Brad that I was going to try to learn to cook properly. He said, 'Don't bother'... he's tasted my cooking!"

But earlier this year, she insisted her children were already fans of her cooking.

She said: "I'm not the best cook. Pax is a better cook than me. Pax likes to cook. But I try to when I can. Any house that we're in, we all chip in. But the kids are very sweet ... so enthusiastic anytime I cook. Especially Maddox, he's just this little man that's very supportive of me - it's like he's raised me a bit. So I cooked them all breakfast before school this morning, and he has that kind of 'Thanks, Mom! Good job!' "
