Big Sean insists Ariana Grande isn't a diva.

The 26-year-old rapper says rumours his 21-year-old girlfriend demands to be carried everywhere are "ridiculous."

The 'Fire' hitmaker said: "They said she's a diva and she demands that she gets carried everywhere she goes. That don't even sound logical. No, man, she don't get carried. I remember I was with her one time and she got carried but it was 'cause her foot was bleeding. She busted her foot, like, you know, dancing and stuff."

When asked about the rumour again, he told New York-based radio station Power 105.1 FM's show 'The Breakfast Club': "That's ridiculous. That's ridiculous."

The 'Freaky' hitmaker, who confirmed he was dating the 'Love Me Harder' singer in October following months of rumours, is glad that they started off as friends several years ago.

Discussing how they first met at another radio show, he said: "When I met her, it was just cool, she was like, 'You, you know I like your music.' She was like, rapping 'Gang Bang.' She was like, 'I know the verse.' And she started rapping it. So we just linked up like that. We was hanging out a little bit and just, you know, was friends over the years. But I think that's the coolest way to do it.

"I don't like her because she's a pop princess. I like her 'cause of who she is. She's cool. She brings out the best in me."
