Prinz Frederic von Anhalt has been banned from his stepdaughter's funeral.

Francesca Hilton - who passed away earlier this month - had an on-going feud with her stepfather over the wellbeing of her mother, his wife Zsa Zsa Gabor and her close friend and publicist Edward Lozzi insists he is "not welcome" when she is laid to rest.

The funeral arrangements have not yet been set, but Edward warned lawyers will get a restraining order to keep Frederic away if necessary.

Francesca's body is currently at the Los Angeles County coroner's morgue and is awaiting more testing to determine a cause of death but Frederic is reportedly threatening legal action for her remains as he believes he should control funeral arrangements in his role as the conservator for his bedridden, blind and mute wife.

However, Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter told RadarOnline.com the remains of the unmarried photographer - whose father was late hotel tycoon Conrad Hilton - will not be released to her stepfather.

It is believed Steven Hilton, her half-brother, has contacted the coroner's office to express his intentions to claim the body.

Edward previously claimed that Francesca had been "under extreme pressure" because she had been told by her stepfather that "she would no longer be allowed in the house" to visit her 97-year-old mother..

She had previously clashed with Frederic over her mother's care and finances for years and is said to have spoken to her attorney on the phone hours before her death in a bid to make a plan of action about what to do about her mother.
