Nikki Reed says she and Ian Somerhalder "have such an amazing future" ahead of them.

The 26-year-old actress, who recently got engaged to the 'Vampire Diaries' star after six months of dating, believes they can achieve anything they want together.

Asked what excites her most about their future, the 'Twilight Saga' beauty said: "Honestly just the endless possibilities, you know? We have such an amazing future ahead of us and anything we put our minds to will become a reality. I'm just excited for all those possibilities."

Nikki and Ian, 36, originally bonded over their love of animals and they adopted two horses together last year.

She told PEOPLE.com: "I did a horse film about a year ago and I literally couldn't separate myself from two of the horses. They became like my family and I couldn't say goodbye. I'm so lucky that Ian and I are on the same page with animals. We made [adopting the horses] happen together."

The actress, who also has four dogs and three cats, is set to host the Catdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, tomorrow (24.01.15), where she will help to auction off a custom diamond cat dome ring to raise funds for the ASPCA [American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals].

She said: "This is what I live for and it's my passion, so I love any opportunity to collaborate in this way. Nothing makes me happier than being a part of this."
