Harry Styles "can't wait" to turn 21.

The 20-year-old One Direction singer is reportedly excited to reach the milestone so he can enjoy a drink in the United States when the band - which also includes Niall Horan, 21, Liam Payne, 21, Zayn Malik, 22 and Louis Tomlinson, 23 - visit the country later this year.

A source told the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper: "Harry can't wait to be able to legally drink in the US. He's in arguably the most famous pop band in the world but still can't get a drink in certain places.

"He's sick of being the butt of all the baby jokes in the group after being branded 'Baby Spice'."

Meanwhile, Harry - who turns 21 next month - previously joked that he would never move to the United States because he enjoys British food too much.

He said: "They don't even know what Toad In The Hole or Branston Pickle is. And if you say bangers and mash they're like, 'bangers? bangers and what?'

"Not good. Time to go home when that happens."

His bandmate, Louis, agreed: "It seems like it's expected of us [to move away], but we're British boys."

Harry, though, may have since changed his mind as he is regularly spotted in America when the band take breaks from their world tours.

The 'Steal My Girl' hitmaker also reportedly purchased a five-bedroom home in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles in March last year as well as owning a home in London.
