Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are already "planning" children.

The 'Modern Family' star - who got engaged to the 'True Blood' actor last month - has revealed that the pair would like to have kids together.

She said: "He's younger than me and he's never had kids, so of course if we can do it, why not?

"It needs a lot of planning, but we have to leave it to God to see if it happens."

The 42-year-old actress - who already has a 22-year-old son, Manolo, from her previous marriage to Joe Gonzalez - also revealed that the newly-engaged couple are hoping to wed as soon as they can.

She told Entertainment Tonight!: "I think we're going to try to do it sooner than later. It's going to be a lot of people. It has to be a lot of people.

"We sat down and tried [to shorten the guest list], 'Okay, let's see if we can do like 20 and 20,' and it was impossible."

Meanwhile, Sofia - who showed off her diamond engagement ring on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards last night (25.01.15) - joked that whilst it was "all about the bling-bling", she would have accepted the 38-year-old actor's proposal regardless of what ring he bought her.

She said: "It's all about the bling-bling, so he knew what I needed. I opened it up and I checked it to see...

"He's so handsome that it would have been okay, you know? I would have said, 'OK, yeah.'"
