Big Sean appreciates "every moment" with Ariana Grande.

The 26-year-old rapper, who has been dating the 'Problem' hitmaker for five months, is glad they were really good friends before they started dating because they can talk about everything.

He said: "It was cool to have a girl that I could talk to about my problems. I did that with her. It's not some fake-a**, inauthentic s**t when I say we were friends. This is something special and I appreciate every moment of it."

The couple initially attempted to keep their romance a secret, but now refuse to let their fame affect their time together.

He said: "You can't be afraid, because when you're afraid you don't give it your all."

While the 'Beware' hitmaker - real name Sean Michael Anderson - is very happy with Ariana, 21, he "wasn't surprised" when ex-fiancée Naya Rivera accused him of stealing her Rolex watch after their split last April.

He told the February issue of Complex magazine: "I felt like it was unnecessary drama 'cause in my eyes it wasn't true. I wasn't surprised by it. Even though I didn't steal anything, I wasn't surprised by it."

The 'Glee' actress wrote on Twitter at the time: "@bigsean stealing rolexes from a lady's house now. Maybe cuz I'm on Glee and making more money or something. #triflin (sic)"

She later deleted the tweet, but the rapper insists it wasn't true.

He said: "I have to steal a Rolex? Second of all, every Rolex that I have, I have receipts for, papers for, certificates of authenticity for. I would never steal a Rolex from anybody. You see [Naya's] tweet got deleted in like 20 seconds."
