Noel Gallagher has been offered free lager for life.

Tennent's Lager has vowed to construct a bar within the 'Cigarettes and Alcohol' hitmaker's home and fill it with the beverage whenever he feels like downing a pint after he described the drink as the "best beer in the world".

Jane Cannon, marketing manager for Tennent’s Lager, said: “Some might say it’s the ultimate rock and roll gift for Noel - his very own bar, which will always be fully stocked.

“We’ve nicknamed it the ‘Lager Supernova’ and I’m sure it will help to host more than a few epic parties once it’s installed.”

The company is planning to install a 'Live Forever' hotline next to the bar so the 'Champagne Supernova' star can ring in at any time to request more lager.

Tennent’s generous offer comes after Noel dec lared his love for the beverage while holding a pint as he stood outside the Craigellachie Hotel in the Scottish Highlands over the weekend while attending nutritionist Rose Ferguson's birthday party.

Speaking about his drink of choice at the star-studded bash - which was also attended by Kate Moss, Sadie Frost and Nick Grimshaw - he said: "I just stuck to the Tennent’s Lager. It’s the best beer in the world - I’d like a lifetime’s supply."

The company also paid tribute to the 47-year-old star on their Twitter account.

A message to him read: "We love you too, @NoelGallagher"

It's not the first time Noel has got something positive out of having a beer as in October 2011 he revealed he and Damon Albarn had made up after their feud in the mid-90s during the dizzy heights of Britpop by sharing an alcoholic drink.

He said at the time: "Funnily enough, when I was out last night, I bumped into him. I literally haven't seen the guy for 15 f***ing years and I bump into him in some club. We both went, 'Hey! F***ing hell!' And then he said, 'Come on, let’s go for a beer.'

"So, we're sitting there, having a beer, just going, 'What the f**k was all that about 15 years ago? That was mental.' "
