Gwyneth Paltrow is "entering a new chapter" of her life.

The 42-year-old actress - who has been romantically linked with 'Glee' co-creator Brad Falchuk since splitting from husband Chris Martin last March - feels "very comfortable" with who she is and is happy to speak honestly about herself.

Asked why she has been more open in recent interviews, Gwyneth said: "I don't know... I'm entering a new chapter in of my life, and I think I feel very comfortable with myself... it feels good to be more myself."

And the 'Iron Man 3' star also spoke of her and Chris' "amazing" children, Apple, 10, and Moses, eight, revealing the are trying their hands at a new sport.

Speaking on the red carpet at the Oscars, she told 'Extra': "They're amazing. They had their first lacrosse lesson this morning, so I'm not sure if they're into it, but we'll see. They're getting big now.

Though Gwyneth hasn't spoken about her romance with Brad, who she is believed to have been quietly dating for several months, the pair looked "in love" as they arrived arm-in-arm at the William Morris Endeavor private pre-Oscar party on Friday.

One onlooker at the party, which took place at agent Ari Emanul's Hollywood home, told the New York Daily News newspaper's Confidenti@l column: "She looked smoldering and he was taking good care of her, they were together all night.

"They were acting very cozy, he definitely suits her."
